The U.S.-Syria Business Council (USSYBC) is proud to announce its partnership with the Concordia Summit. A USSYBC delegation will participate tomorrow in the 2025 Annual Concordia Summit in New York City. The delegation will engage global senior corporate leaders and H.E. Ahmed Al Sharaa, President of Syria, in private discussions and exclusive briefings on business opportunities and economic outlooks in Syria and the Middle East.

President Al Sharaa will also publicly speak at the Concordia Summit on his historic visit to New York City — marking the first Syrian presidential address since 1967.
Launched this year, the U.S.-Syria Business Council aims to drive bilateral trade, advance economic partnerships, and guide companies looking to expand across markets and invest in Syria’s reconstruction.

We believe in the strong potential Syria has—both for economic growth and for building closer, more integrated ties with the United States. Leveraging our extensive network and expertise, we create new openings for U.S. and Syrian goods and link American investors to high-potential opportunities in Syria.

The USSYBC also believes strongly in Concordia’s mission and are committed to working hand-in-hand to create synergies that advance our shared vision and achieve our respective objectives.

Concordia brings together leaders from government, business, nonprofits, and civil society to forge cross-sector partnerships and address pressing global challenges. Its Annual Summit, held in New York City alongside the UN General Assembly, serves as a premier forum for this exchange. The USSYBC is proud to join the roster of Concordia’s distinguished partners and members.
